Emory University junior Alexandra Loucopoulos was named the University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week for her performance this past weekend in Atlanta.

Loucopoulos had a career-best performance Friday night as the No. 19 ranked Eagles bounced back with a 44-point win over Case Western Reserve. Loucopoulos netted a career-high 30 points in the 90-46 win while shooting 12-for-18 from the floor including 4-for-8 from 3pt range. The junior scored 23 points in the first half as she outscored the Spartans, 23-21, across the opening 20 minutes. She added four steals, three blocks, three assists and two rebounds in 30 minutes of action.

Emory will be back in action Friday night with a top-25 matchup on the road against WashU. Tipoff in St. Louis is scheduled for 8:30 PM ET.
