Emory University women's soccer junior Madison Teng was named the University Athletic Association Offensive Player of the Week for her performance during the week of September 15-21.
Teng accounted for four goals as the No. 2 ranked Eagles outscored William Peace and Lynchburg by a combined total of 15-1 in its two wins. Teng scored the first goal and assisted on Emory's second tally during Monday's 9-0 rout of WPU before scoring twice in the Eagles' 6-1 win over Lynchburg in Charlotte on Sunday.
For the season, Teng is third on the team with four goals and ranks second with four assists. This is her first-ever Athlete of the Week honor.
The Eagles will be back at home Tuesday night to host crosstown foe Oglethorpe before going back on the road to face Sewanee on Saturday.
