The Emory University men's track and field team carried their momentum from the indoor season into a historic outdoor campaign with the team claiming the seventh UAA Championship title in program history.
The Eagles saw seven All-America finishes at the NCAA Outdoor Championships while 19 student-athletes earned 25 different All-Region selections. With their efforts this season, the men took home the program's first UAA Championship title since 2015 and finished in a tie for 11
th at nationals, the team's best finish since 2008.
Graduate student
Dawit Dean brought home the best finish at nationals this season for the Eagles finishing as the runner-up in the 800m run. For his efforts during the season, he was named the UAA Most Outstanding Performer in running events while also earning All-Region honors in the 4x400m relay, 400m dash and the 800m run. At the UAA Championships, he took home the individual title in the 400m dash helping the Eagles to a first place team finish.
Senior
Jackson Price earned two All-American finishes at nationals taking fourth in the 200m dash while earning a second team nod finishing 14
th in the 4x100m relay alongside teammates
Henry Brandstadter,
Sam Ryba and
Caleb Bunch. Brandstadter rounded out the All-America finishes taking fifth in the long jump, his third straight All-America finish in the event.
The Eagles saw UAA titles in six different events at the outdoor championships with Brandstadter, Price and Dean all earning two UAA Championships each. Also earning a UAA title was freshman
Ari Klasky in the discus. Following the championships, he was named the UAA Outdoor Rookie of the Year.
