For the second consecutive season, the Emory University women's indoor track and field program saw history made following an impressive 2024-25 campaign.
The Eagles saw their first-ever national champion in the indoor pentathlon in graduate student
Nikki Boon while seeing five other All-Americans named. 18 student-athletes also combined for 27 USTFCCCA All-Region selections for placing top-five in their respective events and two UAA individual titles were claimed at the UAA Championships.
Boon set a Division III national record as well as a championship meet record as she became the first woman ever at the Division III level to reach 4,000 points in the indoor pentathlon. Boon also became the second-ever Emory student-athlete to win an indoor national championship, joining Annika Urban who won the mile crown in 2023. Her overall score of 4,061 shattered her previous Emory record of 3,763 and placed her in rarefied air as the first athlete on the women's side to reach that high of a score.
Also competing at the NCAA Championships was junior
Madison Tiaffay who earned All-America status with her fourth place finish in the mile. Boon later teamed up with teammates
Jada Kenner,
Dashiel Tao Harris and
Eva Carchidi for an All-America, fifth place finish in the 4x400m relay.
Kenner and Carchidi both earned second team All-America honors with their top-16 finishes in the 60m and 200m respectively while senior
Liesl Scherrer also brought home second team honors with a 12
th place finish in the 5000m run.
At the UAA Championships, Boon and Carchidi earned UAA Championship titles in the long jump and 200m dash respectively. Six Eagles also earned All-UAA status for their top-three finishes in eight different events.
