The Emory University baseball program saw another successful season in 2025 with its first trip to the postseason since 2017, the 15
th overall appearance in program history. Following legendary coach Mike Twardowski's retirement earlier this year, the Eagles were led this season by head coach
Bobby Perez.

Emory's record of 28-16 marks the 13
th consecutive season with a winning record while posting a 12-8 record in conference play this season finishing in a tie for second. Statistically, the Eagles finished third in the conference with a .303 batting average and fourth with a 6.19 ERA.

The Eagles faced two tough matchups to being the season going 3-3 against receiving votes Berry and No. 19 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Following a 2-1 record at the Huntingdon Tournament in Montgomery, Alabama, Emory won seven consecutive games to hold a 14-6 record entering conference play.

Conference play got off to a strong start with the Eagles taking three out of four games against the NYU Violets including a 19-9 win in the series finale before dropping their series against receiving votes Case Western Reserve. Emory then took their first conference series sweep of the season against the Brandeis Judges taking all four games in Waltham, Massachusetts. The regular season ended with back-to-back split series with No. 25 Chicago and WashU.

For the first time since 2017, the Eagles heard their name called during the NCAA Division III Selection Show and learned they would be heading to Lynchburg, Virginia for the regional matchup. Emory opened the tournament with a 7-1 victory over the Maryville College Scots before dropping their first game to the Lynchburg Hornets. Emory faced off with Maryville again in the regional elimination game before facing Lynchburg later in the day in the regional final. The Eagles fought a tough battle in the final game with the Hornets but fell 5-6 to end the season.

Emory earned a number of honors following the end of the season with three Eagles helping to lead the way.

Sophomore
Aidan Conley was a standout during his sophomore season earning All-America, All-Region and All-UAA honors. He was one of four Eagles to start each of the team's 44 games while posting an impressive slash line of .383/.481/.646 and led the team in both batting average and slugging percentage. Conley collected a team-leading 67 hits and topped the Eagles in runs scored (53), triple (4), home runs (8), and total bases (113). He drove in 45 runs, stole 10 bases and was second on the team in OPS (1.127), hit-by-pitches (13).

In his final season as an Eagle, senior
Jack Halloran capped off his outstanding career by batting at a .368 clip and led the team in OPS (1.134), home runs (8), runs batted in (54), walks (41) and on-base percentage (.502). He added 56 hits, including 14 doubles and one triple, scored 38 times and was second on the team behind Conley in total bases (96) and slugging percentage (.632). He established a new Emory record with 170 career RBI and finished second on the all-time Emory list with 28 career home runs.

During his senior season,
Matthew Sicoli started each of the team's 44 games and registered a slash line of .362/.459/.540. He led the team with 53 runs scored, 20 doubles – the second-most by an Eagle in a single-season in team history, eight sacrifice flies and 16 stolen bases. Furthermore, Sicoli posted an OPS of .999 and ranked second on the team in hits (59), RBI (46) and walks (34).
