Emory University junior Aidan Conley was honored earlier this week with his Preseason All-America First Team selection by d3baseball.com.
Conley is the fifth player in Emory Baseball history to be recognized as a Preseason All-American by the publication and the first since Jackson Weeg and Kyle Monk were Second Team choices in 2017. Last season, Conley was honored with a First Team All-American selection by D3baseball.com and was an ABCA/Rawlings All-America Fourth Team pick.
The third-year infielder is coming off a sophomore season where he batted .383 with a 1.127 OPS while leading the Eagles with 67 hits, 53 runs scored, four triples, eight home runs and 113 total bases. Conley added 45 RBI, stole 10 bases and collected 13 hit-by-pitches. He racked up at least one hit in 39 games including 19 multi-hit efforts.
Emory is coming off a 28-16 season in 2025 where the team qualified for the NCAA postseason for the first time since 2017. The Eagles will open the 2026 campaign on Tuesday, February 10th against Huntingdon College.
