Three from Emory Baseball Earn All-Region Acclaim from ABCA & D3baseball.com

Three from the Emory University baseball team were recognized with All-Region acclaim on Tuesday as D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association both released their All-Region teams.

Sophomore Aidan Conley and seniors Jack Halloran and Matthew Sicoli were among those chosen from both organizations. Conley drew First Team honors from the ABCA and was a Second Team selection by d3baseball.com. For Halloran, he was a Second Team honoree on both publications and Sicoli was selected to the Third Team for both.

Conley earns the first All-Region acclaim of his career after previously being tabbed to the All-University Athletic Association First Team earlier this month. He was one of four Eagles to start each of the team's 44 games while posting an impressive slash line of .383/.481/.646 and led the team in both batting average and slugging percentage. Conley collected a team-leading 67 hits and topped the Eagles in runs scored (53), triple (4), home runs (8), and total bases (113). He drove in 45 runs, stole 10 bases and was second on the team in OPS (1.127), hit-by-pitches (13).

For Halloran, this represents his third consecutive season as an All-Region selection after previously being tabbed to the First Team (2024) and Third Team (2023) by d3baseball.com and to the Second Team by the ABCA as a sophomore. In his final season as an Eagle, Halloran capped off his outstanding career by batting at a .368 clip and led the team in OPS (1.134), home runs (8), runs batted in (54), walks (41) and on-base percentage (.502). He added 56 hits, including 14 doubles and one triple, scored 38 times and was second on the team behind Conley in total bases (96) and slugging percentage (.632). He established a new Emory record with 170 career RBI and finished second on the all-time Emory list with 28 career home runs.

Sicoli makes his second straight appearance on both organization's All-Region teams after landed First Team acclaim by the ABCA and was a Second Team pick by d3baseball.com as a junior. During his senior season, Sicoli started each of the team's 44 games and registered a slash line of .362/.459/.540. He led the team with 53 runs scored, 20 doubles – the second-most by an Eagle in a single-season in team history, eight sacrifice flies and 16 stolen bases. Furthermore, Sicoli posted an OPS of .999 and ranked second on the team in hits (59), RBI (46) and walks (34).

The Emory trio helped the program return to the NCAA postseason for the first time since 2017 and reached the regional final. The Eagles concluded the year with an overall record of 28-16.
