Emory University senior Rafe Mosetick emerged victorious in his singles match  in Thursday's quarterfinal round of the USTA/ITA Small College Championships.  The event is being held at the Palmetto Tennis Center in Sumter, South Carolina.

Mosetick squared off against No. 4 seed Paxton Deuel of Trinity University (TX) and came away with a 6-4, 6-3 triumph, raising his fall record to 7-0.  The victory enabled Mosetick to move into a tie with Todd Getz (1991-95) for the No. 18 spot on the program's all-time list with 71 career triumphs.

With the win, Mosetick moves into the D-III semifinals on Friday where he will battle No. 1 seed Skyler Butts of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
