Men's Basketball:
The No. 7 ranked Emory men's basketball team is on the road this weekend as they take on Rochester to begin conference play.
The squad wrapped up non-conference play with a dominant win over Oglethorpe, taking down the Stormy Petrels 88-64. Senior
Jair Knight led the squad with 26 points to pass Terry Gorsuch for sixth place on the all-time scoring list with 1,497 points. Teammates
AJ Harris and
Mario Awasum also netted double-digit points for the Eagles as they scored 18 and 14 points respectively, with Awasum also earning a career-high 15 rebounds.
With the win against Oglethorpe, the Eagles end the non-conference slate with a 10-1 record, heading into conference play on a nine-game win streak.

Women's Basketball:
The seventh-ranked Emory women's basketball team is also hitting the road this weekend to take on Rochester for the conference opener, going 10-1 in non-conference play.
The team fell to #8 Washington and Lee on the road over the weekend 68-63, marking the squads first loss of the year in a competitive top ten matchup. The senior-freshman duo of
Chloe Kreusser and
Tatum Olson kept the squad in the match as they both put up double-doubles on the night.
Riley Allen claimed the lead for the Eagles with a clutch three pointer in the fourth quarter, but the Generals responded with a 9-4 scoring run to secure the win.
