Emory University's Facutly Athletics Representative Antonio Brathwaite was named the 2025 Division III Newcomer of the Year by the Faculty Athletics Representative Association's (FARA) Awards Committee. He was honored at the FARA annual meeting and awards banquet on November 20th.

FARA represents all faculty athletics representatives across all three NCAA divisions, and each year this award is given to the member whose hard work, leadership, and service extend beyond their institution.

Brathwaite currently serves as a teaching professor within the University's Department of Chemistry and is the Director of Undergradaute Research.
