The No. 10 ranked Emory men's tennis team (9-4) continued its weekend in Fredericksburg, Virginia on Saturday, taking on the No. 15 ranked Johns Hopkins Blue Jays on a neutral site. Looking to build off their dominant 7-0 win over North Carolina Wesleyan on Friday, the Eagles carried the momentum into Saturday. Despite losing the match's doubles point, the Eagles took five of the six singles matches to earn a 5-2 victory over the 15
th-ranked Blue Jays. The match was played on the campus of Mary Washington.

Ajay Kartik forced their opponents to reach a seventh point to earn the win, but the duo fell, 5-7. Playing in the No. 3 position, graduate student

Ruilin Feng took down their match on court two by a score of 6-4. Liew and Feng are now 9-1 while playing together in dual matches, including eight straight.
Down 1-0 heading into singles, the Eagles needed to rattle off at least four wins to rally for a win against the Blue Jays. They did just that, taking down five of the six.
Feng continued his dominant rookie year, rallying for a win in three sets on court one. Feng dropped the first set, 3-6, but rebounded to win the following sets 6-2, 6-3 to earn the win. Feng is now 9-2 this season, with this being his third win in the No. 1 slot.
Kamenev got off to a rough start to his match as the victim of a 0-6 sweep in the opening set on court two. Yet, he bounced back to win the following two sets, 6-2, 6-4 and earn the win to elevate his singles record to 6-3 this spring.
Playing on court three, Comu earned his second consecutive win with a line of 6-4, 6-2. Liew was close behind with the win on court four with a line of 6-2, 6-3 to mark his second win of the weekend as well. Kartik rounded out the wins for Emory, earning a victory in the No. 6 position with a final score of 6-1, 6-1. Kartik is now 5-1 during the spring of his rookie year.
Anghel nearly completed the sweep for Emory, but fell in a tiebreaker in the third set on court five. His final score read 2-6, 6-2, 6(3)-7.
The Eagles will look to earn their third win of the weekend on Sunday when they take on #16 Swarthmore on Sunday morning. The match will be the two programs' second meeting this year, with Emory having earned a 4-1 win in mid-February at the ITA Indoor National Championships. The match against Swarthmore is scheduled for a 9:00 AM start tomorrow and will be played at Mary Washington's campus.
