The No. 7 ranked Emory men's tennis team concluded competition at the ITA Team Indoor National Championships on Sunday morning, taking on the No. 9 ranked Swarthmore Garnet in the event's fifth-place match. Taking place at the InnerCity Tennis Facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Eagles won the match handily, 4-1.

Ruilin Feng and sophomore
Christian Liew finishing first, sweeping their opponents, 6-0, in just over 20 minutes. A few minutes later, freshman
Ajay Kartik and junior
Dean Kamenev took a win on court one by a score of 6-2 to clinch the match's doubles point.
With the doubles point in hand, the final doubles match was abandoned to move into singles with Emory holding a 1-0 lead.
Senior
John Lasanajak earned a quick straight-set win on court six. His final line read 6-2, 6-1, granting him his second win of the weekend.
The Garnet got a point back on court one, though, as Emory's
Efe Comu dropped his match (6-3, 6-3).
Yet, the comeback bid was too late for Swarthmore, as Feng and Liew iced out the win for Emory. Liew was sure to earn a win on court three by a score of 6-4, 6-1. Meanwhile, Feng secured the clinching point on court two with a line of 6-2, 7-5. The remaining singles matches were abandoned after the Eagles had secured a victory.

nd with the match scheduled to start at 10:00 AM.
