Kevin Mu Competes in 2025 Patriot All-America Invitational

Emory men's golfer Kevin Mu competed in the Patriot All-America Invitational this week, tying for 75th in a crowded field of athletes spanning NCAA Division I, II, and III, the NAIA, AJGA and NJCAA. The three round event was played at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

The event takes place annually to honor those who have served our country as each competitor plays in honor of a fallen or wounded member of the United States Military. Mu played in honor of Staff Sergeant Joseph Goodrich. Goodrich was a member of the 3rd Battalion in the United States Marine Corps. He was killed on July 10, 2005 by mortar fire while conducting combat operations in Hit, Iraq, making the ultimate sacrifice for his country. Mu carried a bag with Goodrich's name on it for the entirety of the event.

The junior tied for 75th at the conclusion of the event, shooting 226 total on the week. He shot a 75 in his first round, a 76 in his second and concluded the event with a 75 in his final round. Mu totaled four birdies across the three days.
