Freshman Zach Pelzar led the team in birdies on Monday, tapping in 5 during his round. He finished his day with a 70 (-1) to bring his two-round total to 145 (+3). Pelzar found trouble early in his round when he double bogeyed the fourth hole of his day, but was rock solid from that point on. Over his last 14 holes, Pelzar was two under par with four birdies and two bogeys. He enters the final day of the tournament tied for 47th place.

Also carding a 70 (-1) on Monday was senior Michael Burry. The senior had a very steady day, with 11 pars, four birdies, and three bogeys. He was the only Eagle to record a birdie on hole 3, a 586-yard par-5. Burry's two-round score is also at 145 (+3) as he enters the final day tied for 47th place.

Leading the Eagles after two rounds with a score of 144 (+2) is junior Brian Hanson. The junior turned in a 71 (E) on Monday afternoon and led the Eagles with 14 pars while adding two birdies and two bogeys. He was the only Eagle to tap in for birdie on hole 13, a 428-yard par-4. Hanson will enter Tuesday tied for 41st place.

Senior Josh Qian had a strong bounce back round on Monday, improving upon his score from round one by six strokes. Qian carded a 71 (E) on Monday to climb 24 spots on the leader board and bring his two-day total to 148 (+6). Qian's round featured four birdies and as many bogeys. He will head into Tuesday tied for 73rd.

Rounding out the scoring for the Eagles on Monday was senior Tony Li. Li was solid in the first half of his round, shooting an even 36 on his first nine holes. He continued this consistency into his back nine, firing six straight pars. However, two bogeys and a double bogey on his final three holes saw his score elevated to 75 (+4) on the day. He will enter the final day of the event tied for 73rd with a two-round score of 148 (+6).
