Men's Tennis concluded their first tournament of the fall season on Sunday, earning eight wins over the course of Saturday and Sunday.
The Eagles met UNC Asheville in doubles to start Saturday as the duo of
Daniel Kim and
Andy Zhang won in a 9-7 super set.
Mitchell Deames and
Juno Pethe also secured a win over the Bulldogs as they recorded a 6-0 shutout.
In singles, the Eagles met Division I opponent Coastal Carolina and earned four wins on the day.
Joshua Lai earned the first win for the Eagles in an 11-9 super set before senior
Ryan Nash won in a 7-5, 6-4 decision. Newcomer
Aadit Rishi also took down his opponent in a super set as he won 10-7 while
Andy Zhang picked up a 6-3, 6-1 win to wrap up the day.
On Sunday, the Eagles took on Queens in singles and picked up a pair of wins to end the weekend.
Matthew Johnstone took down his opponent in a 6-1, 6-2 decision while Rishi also got it done in straight sets with a 6-3, 6-0 victory.
The Eagles will return to the court in October for the ITA South Regional in Memphis, TN.
