The Emory University swimming & diving teams were recently honored with academic recognition for this past season as the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released its individual and team Scholar All-America recipients earlier this month.
To qualify for First-Team Scholar All-America, student-athletes must have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second Team selections must have also earned a 3.5 GPA or higher and met an NCAA "B" qualifying standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet for Division II, Division III, and NAIA.
The Eagles headlined the Division III selections with a nation's best 44 selection with 25 recipients on the women's side as well as 19 men's selections. Of the 45 honorees, 32 were First Team members.
Both Emory programs were highlighted with Scholar All-America team recognition as well with the women's squad securing a 3.78 collective grade point average during the spring semester and men's roster checking in at 3.71. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2026 grade point averages and were required to achieve a team GPA of 3.00 or higher to earn Scholar All-America recognition.
