The Emory University women's tennis team has announced its incoming class that will join the Eagles ahead of the 2026-27 season. Emory will be adding two newcomers to the roster as well as one transfer following its 14-7 season and an appearance in the NCAA regional finals.
Visnja Gusavac (Danville, Georgia)
Transfer from NYU…Posted an 11-3 record in singles and went 8-7 in doubles for the Violets, playing primarily at the No. 1 positions…Prior to college, Gusavac ranked No. 6 in the state of Georgia while playing at the Atlanta International School as well as No. 122 nationally as a four-star recruit…Led AIS to a state title as team MVP…Plans to pursue a degree in Business while minoring in Economics and German.
Devin Gilroy (Cornelius, North Carolina)
Four-star recruit out of North Carolina, ranking No. 5 in the state and No. 111 nationally…Coming off an individual state championship run for Girls Singles 8A Class while playing for William Amos Hough High School…Named the Greater Charlotte Athletic Conference Player of the Year for 2025-26…Recipient of the Coach David Lash Junior Tennis Female Sportsmanship Award from the NC Tennis Foundation in 2025…Team Captain for Hough High…Plans to pursue a Business degree with a minor in Finance.
Sara Nenkov (Columbus, Missouri)
Four-star recruit ranking No. 3 in the state of Missouri and No. 97 in the country…Team Captain with Missouri Connections Academy…CMAC Player of the Year award winner in 2022…Recipient of Scholar-Athlete, Most Wins and Physical Fitness awards in high school…Finished 7th individually at the state championships as a freshman…Plans to major in Business Analytics.
