Emory University men's golf graduate student Pearse Lucas was announced as an All-America Honorable Mention Thursday afternoon as PING, in conjunction with the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA), released the final Division III All-America team members for the 2025-26 season.
Lucas joins junior Kevin Mu as PING All-America recipients this season as Mu was previously announced as a First Team selection during the NCAA Championships last month. This marks Lucas' third PING/GCAA All-America honor for his career after he was previously a PING All-America Second Team and Honorable Mention selection in 2022 and 2023 as a member of the Sewanee Tigers.
The All-University Athletic Association First Team honoree appeared in 11 tournaments for the Eagles in his debut season as he averaged 71.0 across 34 total rounds. Lucas notched six top 20 finishes including an individual runner-up performance at Emory's Discover Dekalb Invitational back in April. Additionally, Lucas was tabbed as the UAA tournament MVP after going 3-0 in three match play matches to help Emory secure another conference championship. The No. 26 ranked player in DIII finished his season by taking 56th at the NCAA Championships in the field of 225 golfers, helping the Eagles place ninth as a team.
