#10 Men's Tennis Earns NCAA At-Large Bid; Heading to NC Wesleyan for Opening Rounds

The No. 10 ranked Emory University men's tennis program is headed back to the NCAA postseason after receiving an at-large bid to the postseason as the bracket was released Monday afternoon.

The Eagles claimed one of the nine coveted at-large spots and will be one of 43 teams to compete for the 2026 national title. Emory finished the regular season with a 12-10 overall record and placed third at the UAA Championships last month for the fourth consecutive season.

Emory is set to head to Rocky Mount, North Carolina for this weekend's opening rounds and will be one of two teams that received first round byes in the six-team pod. The Eagles will await the winner of No. 37 Stevens (14-5) and Penn State-Harrisburg (11-7) in Saturday's second round match. Stevens is coming off a MAC Freedom title run while PSU-Harrisburg claimed its third straight United East crown to qualifying for the postseason.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 9 Johns Hopkins (15-6) received a first round bye and will take on the winner of host No. 38 NC Wesleyan (14-8) and Albright (15-4). The Blue Jays earned an at-large bid while NCW and Albright captured conference championships in the USA South and MAC Commonwealth.

The first and second round matches will take place on Friday-Saturday, May 9-10 on the campus of North Carolina Wesleyan with the winners advancing to the regional final on Sunday, May 11th for a spot in the national quarterfinals in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

This year represents the 36th consecutive postseason berth for the Eagles.

Along with team selections, individual selections to the NCAA Championships will be announced on Wednesday, May 6.
