Senior center fielder Ashley Chu was named to the NFCA All-Region Third Team for Region VI over the weekend, marking her fourth time receiving All-Region honors. Chu has earned All-Region acclaim in each of her four seasons as an Eagle, earning First Team honors in 2023 and 2025 and Third Team honors in 2024 and 2026. 

Chu delivered phenomenal performances all season long in her final season for the Eagles as the senior started in all 37 games to earn her fourth consecutive All-Region selection. The senior batted a team-high .416 with a .907 OPS while leading the team in hits (52), runs (33) and stolen bases (11). In regional competition, Chu went 20-39 on the year with six RBI, earning All-UAA First Team honors earlier this season.

Her best regional performance of the season came in the NCAA Tournament against Belhaven where Chu went 3-5 with three RBI and an inside-the-park home run to help the Eagles beat the Blazers 15-7 in the regional final, solidifying her spot on the All-Tournament team for the Belhaven regional. The senior delivered 15 multi-hit games over the course of the season including seven in regional competition, becoming the program all-time hits leader on April 11 against UChicago, surpassing Emory Hall of Famer Megan Light with 256 hits on the season.
