The Emory University softball program is postseason bound for the second consecutive season after earning an at-large bid as the NCAA tournament field was unveiled Monday morning on NCAA.com.

The Eagles secured one of the 22 at-large selections to the double elimination, 64-team field and will be headed to Belhaven University in Jackson, Mississippi after finishing the regular season with a 25-12 overall record and UAA runner-up performance with a 13-4 conference record. This will be Emory's second appearance in the NCAA tournament under Head Coach India Chiles and the 18th overall postseason appearance in team history.

The Eagles earned the No. 2 seed in the four-team pod and will open regional play against No. 3 seeded Berry College at 2:30 PM EST. The Vikings won their fifth straight Southern Athletic Association crown and boast an overall record of 30-13.

The Belhaven Blazers will be host for the regional after going 37-9 on the season and winning the Collegiate Conference of the South crown. The Blazers will host Westminster (PA) in the opening game on Thursday as the Titans punched their ticket by winning the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference and going 30-9 during the season.

Double-elimination play starts Thursday in Jackson, Miss. and continues through Saturday, May 16 with the winner advancing to the Super Regionals.
