The #2 ranked Emory men's golf team wrapped up the first round of the Jekyll Island Collegiate Friday afternoon, finishing with a 291 (+3) to end the day in 14
th place.

Pearse Lucas and junior
Kevin Mu led the Eagles as they both shot a 71 (-1) on the day to finish in 37
th place. Lucas shot five birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey while Mu shot six birdies and five bogeys to end the first day of competition.
Brian Hanson finished next on the leaderboard, placing 68
th with a 74 (+2) in his first round. The senior shot two bogeys, a double bogey and four birdies on the day to place in the top 70.
Junior
Brady Lagendyk came in next, finishing 85
th after shooting two birdies and four bogeys to end with a 75 (+3) at the end of round one.
Zach Pelzar finished things off for the Eagles on day one, shooting an 87 (+15) to land in 150
th place.
