The Emory University men's swimming & diving team had one podium finisher to go along with six Second Team All-Americans on Thursday as the 2026 NCAA Championships continued in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Graduate student Crow Thorsen was the Eagles' top performer on night two as he earned First Team All-America recognition with his eighth place finish in the 400 IM with a finals times 3:53.42. Freshman Carson Kalish added a top-10 showing in the event as he won the consolation final to take ninth overall at 3:51.42.
In the 100 Fly, junior McKee Thorsen and graduate student Jared Zhang reached the consolation final with Thorsen placing 12th with his evening session time of 48.34 followed by Zhang in 16th place at 48.64.
Junior Hayden Tupper began the evening as he took 14th place in the 200 Free for Second Team All-America honors and then concluded the night as part of the Eagles' 200 Freestyle Relay, teaming with M. Thorsen, Zhang and Connor McHugh to finish 13th overall at 1:20.64.
Through two days of competition, Emory stands fifth in the team standings with 134 points. Denison University leads the pack at 226 points followed by UChicago (179), NYU (169) and Kenyon (150).
The NCAA Championships continue Friday morning with prelims getting started at 10:00 AM.
