The Emory University track and field program sent select athletes to compete at the Tufts National Qualifier in Medford, Massachusetts on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman
Jada Kenner and senior
Jackson Price both broke program records at the event in the 60m dash and 200m dash respectively.
Kenner competed in the 60m prelims finishing second with a program-best time of 7.59, the 10
th best time in Division III this season. Teammate
Kaya Binetti also competed in the prelims finishing with a qualifying time of 7.75 before later running a 7.72 in the finals. She also competed in the 200m dash running a 25.40 for a third place finish.

Eva Carchidi and Kenner finished the running events and took home first with a time of 3:50.38, the eighth best time in Division III this year.
Senior
Sarah Fineman was the lone thrower competing for Emory in the shot put. She finished second in the event with a distance of 13.15m. Freshman
Amaya Grant also competed in field events taking sixth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.14m.
For the men, Price took home a second place finish in the 200m dash with a program-best time of 21.92. He also competed in the 60m prelims running a 7.01 to qualify for the finals.
Also competing in running events for the Emory men were senior
Marcus Cheema, freshman
Ryan McGonigle and graduate students
Spencer Watry and
Scott Masterson in the distance medley relay finishing fifth with a 9:54.54 mark, the 13
th best time in Division III this year.
Freshman
Sam Gouvalaris was the only field competitor for the Emory men on Saturday afternoon as he finished third in the triple jump with a distance of 13.88m.
The final list of meet participants for the 2025 DIII Indoor track and field championships will be made available on NCAA.com Sunday, March 9 before competition at the championships start on Friday, March 14.
