Ignacio Cubeddu got things started for the Eagles with a shot off the corner kick, but the Yellowjackets came back and put up three shots within three minutes. The first half went scoreless but the Eagles put up seven shots on the half to Rochester's four.

In a strong defensive battle, Geoffrey Halpern had one save on the half to Rochester's two on the half as the first half came to an end.

The action ramped up in the second half, with Jack Burgess, Logan Steren and Josh Ali all putting shots up in the first four minutes. With both teams putting up strong defensive performances, Owen Clark put the Eagles on the board off the corner kick in the 60th minute, thanks to assists from Christopher Marchant and Adeyemi Oni.

To keep the action going, the Yellowjackets found the back of the goal about ten minutes later off the Emory goal kick to tie the game 1-1 in the 70th minute.

The Eagles went back into defensive mode as Rochester put up multiple shots in effort to keep their momentum, but a save from Halpern in the 78th minute kept the Eagles alive.

The momentum started to shift Emory's way as Burgess got a shot off the crossbar, but it was Marchant who scored the second goal for the Eagles off the crossbar on a header after the free kick in the 84th minute.

The Eagles will be tuned into the Division III NCAA tournament selection show at 11:30 a.m. on Monday to find out where they will begin their postseason run.
