Both Cross Country teams took first place in the team standings this afternoon at the Chattanooga Intercollegiate, with the women's team earning 15 points and the men's team earning 25 points. The Emory women held nine of the top ten spots on the leaderboard while the men's squad held six of the top ten spots.
On the women's side, junior 
Cameron Gupta led the pack taking first place with her time of 22:15.48. Sophomore 
Davis Johnson was soon to follow, clocking in at 22:23.31 to put her in second place. Senior 
Madison Tiaffay was next, coming in at 22:27.60 to find herself in third place. 
Payton Fleming followed suit, coming in about three seconds later at 22:30.93 to take fourth. Rounding out the top five was freshman 
Ayla Cooke, who crossed the finish line at 22:36.40. Following her in was junior 
Elizabeth Csikai who came in at 22:47.17 to earn sixth place. Behind her was the freshman duo of 
Ashley Clyman and 
Lucy Ambrogio, who took seventh and eighth after finishing at 23:11.18 and 23:22.70 respectively. Rounding out the top ten for the Eagles was junior 
Morgan Cox, who came in at 23:41.18. Behind her was the freshman duo of 
Ines Lemee and 
Zoe Dichter, who took 12
th and 13
th place after coming in at 24:00.52 and 24:08.86 respectively. Close behind was sophomore 
Arden Gray, who took 15
th with a time of 24:59.07. Rounding things out for the Eagles was senior 
Karsten Bobb, taking 18
th with her time of 25:17.84.
In the men's 8k, freshman 
Amos Pres led the Eagles coming in third place with a time of 26:20.72. Close behind was senior 
Nikhil Makker, coming in second place at 26:21.07. Coming in just under 26:30 was freshman 
Logan Clark, who came in sixth place. A few seconds behind him was fellow freshman 
Jack Mulhauser who took seventh with a time of 26:37.69. Junior 
Olin Gilster came in next, coming in eighth with a time of 26:45.99. Almost exactly a second behind Gilster was freshman 
Korben Lewis, who came in ninth with a time of 26:46.66. Rounding out the top ten for the Eagles was freshman 
Shane Larkin, crossing the finish at 26:57.51. Behind him was the senior/freshman duo of 
Lucas Moskovitz and 
Owen Brandeis, who clocked in at 27:39.20 and 27:50.12 to take 16
th and 17
th respectively. Rounding things out for the Eagles was sophomore 
Parker Carrus, who took 20
th with his time of 27:57.36.
A group of athletes on the men's side will take the course tomorrow in New Jersey for the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle at 11:45 a.m. The whole squad will be back on the course on November 1 for the UAA Championship meet in Edwardsville, IL.
