The Emory University women's swimming and diving team concluded the Emory Fall Invitational with yet another strong showing in the second session on Saturday morning. The Eagles compiled eight event wins while recording 19 B Cuts on the afternoon. The strong showing saw the Eagles pull away from the pack with ease, finishing first out of five teams.
The Eagles got it started early, posting two B Cuts in the 200 Medley Relay. The team consisting of graduate student

Caitlin Crysel took first with a dazzling time of 1:41.56. Junior

Stephanie Lee were right behind with a qualifying time of 1:44.04 in second place.
The Eagles dominated the 200 Breast event, having the top six finishers in the event and four of which recording a B Cut. Cohen took the event with ease, posting a time of 2:16.82. Her teammates freshman

Caroline Zhu, and freshman
Maddy Lu all came in, second through fourth with B Cuts, respectively.
Emory also dominated in the 100 Fly, having the top four finishers in the race, all posting B Cuts. Greeneway was the top finisher in the event, posting a time of 54.71. Coming in second through fourth, respectively was Crysel, McDonald, and senior
Rosalie Gaudiani.
Crysel's strong day continued, posting an event winning and NCAA qualifying time of 23.42 in the 50 Free. Jungers joined Crysel in earning an individual event win in the 100 Back with an NCAA qualifying time of 54.86.
Senior
Jada Chatoor had a strong showing on Saturday, posting a B Cut with a time of 17:00.26 in the 1650 Free. Junior
Meredith Liu also earned an NCAA qualifying time in the race, posting a time of 17:20.25.
Graduate student
Penelope Helm was another Eagle to earn an event win, taking down the 200 Free with an NCAA qualifying time of 1:51.37. Freshman
Elodie Mitchell finished second with a time of 1:51.38.
The 400 Free Relay team closed out the day to earn the final event win of the event, posting a B Cut time of 3:25.70. The team consisted of Crysel, Greeneway, freshman
Louisa Wendt and sophomore
Meredith Teague.
Emory will take the next few weeks off before heading to Granville, Ohio to compete in the Denison Invitational. The Denison Invitational will start on Thursday, December 5
th and conclude Saturday, December 7
th. Meanwhile, the divers will travel to Cambridge, Massachusetts for the MIT Invitational, an event that will start on Friday, December 6
th and conclude Sunday, December 8
th.
