Because of inclement weather in the Demorest, Ga., area, Sunday's (May 12) NCAA Softball Regional game between Emory and Transylvania has been pushed back to 4:00 pm.

The contest between the Eagles and the Pioneers is an elimination game with the winner staying alive to meet Piedmont College in a scheduled 6:30 pm start.  If either Emory or Transylvania were to beat Piedmont on Sunday, the final game of the Regional would be played Monday (May 13) at a time to be determined.  A Piedmont win closes out the Regional and sends the host Lions to next weekend's Super Regionals. 

Emory opened the Regional with a 7-3 victory over Emory & Henry on Friday before dropping a 4-0 verdict to Piedmont on Saturday.
