The second-ranked Emory University Eagles bounced back from a pair of setback in doubles play to sweep all six singles matches in a 7-2 win over eighth-ranked Pomona-Pitzer Colleges in Claremont, California on Monday night.

The victory raised the Eagles' record to 6-2 on the year, while Pomona-Pitzer fell to 3-1 on the year.

After senior Beatrice Rosen and sophomore Melissa Goodman captured the Eagles' only doubles point with an 8-3 win in the second match, Emory quickly recovered with a sweep of the singles action.  Rosen, sophomore Michelle Satterfield, sophomore Katarina Su, Goodman, freshman Bridget Harding and freshman Julie Fowler all earned singles victories for the Eagles in the match.

Emory will continue its West Coast trip on Wednesday at 1:30 pm PT against Division II Azusa Pacific University.
