Members of the Emory University women's tennis team capped off their stellar weekend in College Grove, Tennessee on Sunday as ITA South Regional singles and doubles winners were crowned at the Farm & Forge Tennis Center.
The day started with sophomore
Holyn Karp defeating classmate
Audrey Pogue 6-4, 6-1 in the championship match to become the latest Eagle to win the singles title. Later in the afternoon, Karp paired with classmate
Visnja Gusavac for the doubles championship as they downed
Yanire Marte and
Devin Gilroy in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.
By virtue of advancing to the championship matches, all Eagles will compete at the ITA Cup next month in Rome, Georgia
