Emory Volleyball competed in the first UAA Round Robin of the season on Saturday, going up against #8 WashU and NYU.
In match one against WashU, Emory was defeated in three sets. The Eagles were in this one the entire time with each set finishing (25-23, 26-24, 25-19).
Kennedi White led Emory in Kills and Aces with nine and three, respectively.
Gabija Staniskis totaled five blocks and a solo service ace.
Lauren Nip racked up 15 digs and three assists.
In match two, Emory went up against NYU and lost 3-1. NYU was able to take the first two sets until Emory pulled it together for a 25-15 win in set three.
Staniskis led the Eagles in kills with 12. White was right behind her with 11.
Sydney Kennedy totaled seven blocks in the match.
Emory will face Brandeis in the final match of the round robin tomorrow at 10:00AM.
