The Emory Volleyball team competed in the Mount Berry Invitational hosted by Berry College on Saturday, defeating Transylvania 3-0 on Saturday morning.
The Eagles won in 3 sets (25-17, 25-18, and 25-20) to move to 6-2 on the season.
As a team, Emory put down 45 kills, six service aces, five blocks, and 44 digs.
Skylar Giuliani led the way for Emory with 12 kills and three blocks on the day.
Gabija Staniskis contributed 11 kills and two blocks.
Jillian Massenat had two service aces and 20 digs.
Kennedi White had 10 kills and a service ace.
Emory will kick off UAA play next week at the first UAA Round Robin of the year, hosted by the University of Rochester. They will play WashU at 11:00 AM on September 26
th, followed by NYU at 3:00 PM. The final match of the weekend will be against Brandeis on Sunday, September 27
th at 10:00 AM.
