Emory University baseball senior Josh Zuckerman was recently honored with a pair of All-Region honors from D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association as both outlets announced their end-of-season awards last week.
Zuckerman makes his first career appearance on either All-Region list as he was tabbed to the D3baseball.com All-Region 6 Second Team and was named to the ABCA All-Region VI Third Team. Earlier this season, Zuckerman was one of two Eagles to land on the All-University Athletic Association First Team.
As a senior, Zuckerman hurled 61 innings over 10 starts as he recorded an overall record of 4-3. He turned in a team-best 2.80 earned run average while striking out 66 batters and held opponents to a .223 batting clip. Of his 10 starts, Zuckerman notched three complete games including a seven-inning, 11-strikeout performance against Covenant on February 27th and during his final Emory start on April 24th when he tossed 139 pitches to shutout Brandeis in Emory's 2-0 win, striking out 12 Judges.
