The No. 4 ranked Emory University women's tennis team returned to the courts Saturday afternoon, earning a 7-0 decision against Young Harris College on the indoor courts of the Woodruff PE Center in Atlanta.

The Eagles made quick work of the Mountain Lions in their return to action as Emory swept all three matches to collect the doubles point before winning all six singles matches in straight sets to conclude the match in just over three hours.

In doubles, seniors Emily Kantrovitz and Iris Berman were dominant with a 6-0 verdict on the top court before the pairings of Izzy Antanavicius/Holyn Karp and Yanire Marte/Rachel Hernandez followed suite with 6-4 wins on courts two and three.

Hernandez and Marte were a couple standouts in singles competition as they combined to drop just one match between their two wins. On court four, Marte secured a 6-1, 6-0 decision and at the sixth spot, Hernandez picked up the lone whitewashing on the afternoon with a 6-0, 6-0 line.

At No. 1 singles, Kantrovitz posted a 6-1, 6-1 line while her doubles teammate, Berman, won 6-1, 6-2 as she played on the No. 2 line. The doubles duo of Antanavicius and Karp rounded out the singles victories with Antanavicius going for a 6-3, 6-1 triumph on the third court and Karp recording a 6-4, 6-0 sweep at the No. 5 position.

The Eagles will be back on their home indoor courts Sunday morning as they'll host Berry College starting at 10:00 AM.
