Emory University has placed 71 student-athletes on the University Athletic Association Fall All-Academic Team as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning. 505 student-athletes representing teams participating in three women's and two men's fall sports were recognized on the All-Academic Team.
 
To be named to the UAA Fall All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete one full year of college study and carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50, a new requirement beginning this season.
 
The 71 Eagles recognized were spread out over five sports that compete traditionally in the fall with women's soccer leading the way with 21 selections.
