The Emory University men's basketball team will be the second of the Eagles' varsity programs to make their way overseas this summer as the team is set to embark on a nine-day trip to Spain.
The Emory volleyball just returned from their multi-week excursion to Italy where the team enjoyed sight-seeing of the historical cities and landmarks, as well as played local competition. You can see more of their trip on the Emory volleyball social media pages.
The men's basketball program is scheduled to depart for Spain on August 15 and will be returning to the U.S. on August 23.
Across their week-and-a-half, the Eagles will visit Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, taking in many of each cities' offerings. The Eagles will also play a game against club competition during their time in each of the three cities. More highlights on the trip will include a guided tour of old town at Valencia, catamaran cruise in Barcelona, exploring Olympic venues on Montjuic Hill and several sight-seeing tours.
