The Emory University Women's Tennis Team, ranked first in Division III, picked up its first win of the 2015 spring campaign on Saturday afternoon, grabbing an 8-1 win over Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia.
With the win, Emory improved to 1-1 on the season, while Brenau dropped to 0-2.
The Eagles claimed wins in all three doubles matches, with the duos of Anna Fuhr and Katarina Su, Melissa Goodman and Beatrice Rosen, and Michelle Satterfield and Bridget Harding all registering victories.
Emory went on to win five of the six singles matches, with wins for Rosen, Su, Goodman, Harding and Madison Gordon.
Next up for the Eagles will be their first home matches of the campaign, when the squad returns to the Woodruff Physical Education Center for a triple-header on Sunday, February 22nd against Millsaps College, Agnes Scott College and Oglethorpe University.
