Box Score The No. 4-ranked Emory University volleyball team closed out the University Athletic Association Round Robin I on a successful note as it defeated Case Western Reserve University. The Eagles recorded their 19th straight win and boosted their overall record to 20-1 following a 3-1 victory (25-22, 29-31, 25-22, 25-14) over the Spartans.
Senior Amelia McCall keyed the offensive attack with 21 kills, her second-highest career total, while junior Breanah Bourque and senior Jessica McAlvany totaled 14 and 13 terminations, respectively. Sophomore Molly Landers registered 15 digs and helping the defensive effort were junior middles Alex Duhl and Alena Ransom with seven and five block assists, respectively.
The Eagles return to action next Friday and Saturday (Oct. 7-8) when they host the Emory National Tournament.
