Senior (2014):
Gross appeared in a team-high 21 games out of the bullpen duringhis senior season, going 2-2 with a 2.35 ERA and a pair ofsaves. In 30.2 innings pitched, he held opponents to a .246batting average (including just one extra base hit), while strikingout 21 and walking seven. He made three appearances duringthe 2014 University Athletic Association (UAA) Championships,pitching four perfect innings and striking out threebatters. Gross held the opposition scoreless in 13 ofhis 21 appearances.
Junior (2013):
Gross was a key relief pitcher for the Eagles during the 2013season, going 1-0 with a 4.34 ERA. Over his 12 reliefappearances, the third-most on the team, Gross struck out 14batters and held opponents to a .304 batting average in 18.2innings of work. The right-handed pitcher made two longrelief appearances during the UAA tournament, allowing just oneearned run and striking out four over 5.2 innings pitched duringthe conference championships. He picked up his firstcollegiate victory on Match 12th against Rochester, andmatched his career-high with four strikeouts against NCAATournament participant Case Western Reserve on March10th. Gross also notched a perfect inning ofrelief work against Berry on April 9th and struck outthree batters with a scoreless inning against Maryville on April17th. Lefties batted just .188 (three-for-16)against Gross during the season.
Sophomore (2012):
Gross appeared in four games out of the bullpen for the Eaglesduring his first year on the squad, striking out seven batters andwalking just three over 6.2 innings of work. Opponents hitjust .250 (four-for-16) against Gross with runners on base. Gross pitched a shutout innings against Piedmont College onFebruary 18th, his first appearance as an Eagle.

Played on the Mamaroneck High School baseball team for fourseasons, serving as the team captain during his senior year...Named to the 2010 all-league team and the Diamond 9 team for acombination of athletics and academics...
