Nico Castro joined the Emory University volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach prior to the start of the 2024 season.
Prior to joining the Emory staff, Castro served as a coach for the 575 Volleyball Club for athletes ages 13-16. For the past six years, he has been the Director of the Cherokee Middle School Volleyball program where he helped schedule games and practices while also creating effective practice plans for the program. After competing at Reinhardt University as a student-athlete, he spent time as the JV coach helping with recruiting, scouting and statistics.
