Finished with a careerbatting average of .371 (7th all-time at Emory) .. Senior (2007):
A tri-captain on the 2007 team, she batted .336, good forthe No. 5 spot on the team and 21st among UAA players ... A starterin all 40 games she saw action in, Morse finished with 34 RBIs,good for the No. 2 spot on the team ... Third on the team inat-bats (119) and fourth in hits (40) ... Earned second-team berthsto both the All-UAA and All-Atlantic Region Team ... Recorded 11multi-hit contests including three three-hit outings ... Finishedwith three home runs, one of which came against Brandeis in theopening game of the UAA Tournament ... Enjoyed a productivedoubleheader in the regular-season finale at Piedmont College,picking up four hits in five trips to the plate while knocking infive runs ... Junior (2006):
Morse garnered numerous athletic and academic honorsduring the 2006 season. The third baseman and co-captain wasnamed to the all-Atlantic Region second team, and theall-University Athletic Association first team for hercontributions on the field. Morse, a junior, was also namedto the ESPN The Magazine Academic all-America third team,and the Academic all-District first team. Morse led theEagles in batting average (.416), homeruns (5) and runs batted in(41). She finished second on the team in both doubles (10)and runs scored (36). Morse started all 47 games for theEagles during the year.
Sophomore (2005):
Morse was named to the all-conference first team for thefirst time and was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America thirdteam. The third baseman batted .400 with a .650 slugging percentagein eight conference games, including a home run March 11 againstCase Western Reserve University (Ohio). For the season Morse was inthe top four on the team in most offensive categories, includingbatting average, on base percentage, runs, RBI, home runs and totalbases. Morse started all 38 games, had 13 multi-hit games, and madeonly three errors in the field for a .968 fielding percentage. Shewas first in the nation for most hit by pitches (13) as a batter.Morse was one of just three sophomores honored among 33 selectionsto the Academic All-America teams. She had a 3.98 GPA as anAmerican History and Literature major.
Freshman (2004):
Morse batted .349 on the year-tied for fifth on the teamand tied for the best of any freshman-and registered 19 RBI, whichalso was fifth on the team. She hit safely in six of her firstseven games as a collegian, including a 3-for-4 performance withthree RBI against Savannah College of Art and Design, (Ga.) Feb.28.

Played for Washburn Rural High School where her team won theCentennial League Championship twice, won the Sub-StateChampionship twice, and had a third place State Championshipfinish...Was named to the All-City team three times...Named to theAll-Conference team three teams...Named to the All-State team...WasOffensive MVP for the team twice...Named team's Most InspirationalPlayer...Earned National Student Athlete of the Day Award...Namedto Who's Who in High School Sports.
