Biography

Sophomore (2006):
Appeared in 18 games and started eight for the Eagles as apitcher.  Eaves compiled a 6-3 record during the season with a1.85 earned run average, striking out 37 batters in 56.2innings.  She pitched five complete games, including twoshutouts.  The sophomore threw two complete game one-hittersduring the season, one against Maryville College (Tenn.) and theother against Piedmont College (Ga.).  Eaves held all opposingbatters to a .188 batting average during the season.

Freshman (2005):
Eaves played in 32 games, the most by a freshman thisseason, as the team's starting first baseman and No. 3 pitcher. Shewas second on the team with 183 putouts and recorded a .985fielding percentage. On the mound, she posted a 3-2 won-loss recordand a 1.44 earned run average. The freshman began her collegepitching career by tossing 20.2 consecutive innings withoutallowing a run. At the plate, she went 3-for-3 in a game againstCase Western Reserve University (Ohio) during the conferencetournament.
