Biography

Senior (2006):

Doan was a key member of the Emory squad during the 2006 season,starting all 17 games for the Eagles.  Doan earned an All-UAAhonorable mention for his play as a defensive midfielder during theseason.  He scored one goal on the year, coming againstWashington University (Mo.), ranked 22nd in the nation when theteams met, leading the Eagles to a 1-0 win.  The goal was thesenior's second career game-winning goal in conference play, asthree of his four career goals have come against UAA teams. He was a key member of the Eagles' defense as well, which compileda 0.93 goals against average and seven shutouts during theyear.  Doan finished his career as an Eagle with four goalsand four assists for 12 points.

Junior (2005):

In his first year on the team, Tai Doan appeared in 16 games forthe Eagles, starting 14 of them.  The junior midfielder scoredthree goals and 10 points.  He added four assists during theseason, the fourth-best total on the team.  Doan scored thegame-winning goal and added an assist later in a 4-0 win againstconference-rival New York University.  He took 23 shots duringthe season, 11 of which were on goal.
