Senior (2008):
In 2008, Carver became the first player in school history tobecome a two-time all-American, following his First Team berthafter the 2007 season. He also earned a spot on the all-SouthRegion first team, and his second-straight UAA Player of the Yearhonor earlier in the season, becoming the first Emory men's soccerplayer to do so. This season, the senior led the team with 13goals and 33 points, and moved into second place in school historywith 129 career points and 50 goals. Carver finished theseason with four game-winning goals, and a school-record 18 careergame winners. The co-captain also assisted on threegame-winning goals during the season, and finishes his career witha program-best 11 game-winning assists. Carver got off to ahot start to the campaign, scoring 11 points in the first two gamesof the season, including a hat-trick during the Eagles' seasonopener against Guilford College, the third of his career. Hefinished the season ranked 67th in Division III in goals per gameand 74th in points per game.
Junior (2007):
Carver recorded one of the most successful offensive campaignsin Emory history during the 2007 season, and became the fourthplayer in school history to be named to the All-America first team.In addition, he earned a nod to the all-South Region first team.The junior became just the sixth Emory player to be named theUniversity Athletic Association (UAA) Player of the Year, scoringsix goals and assisting on five others during conference games. Carver finished the 2007 season with career highs in goals,assists and points, leading the team in goals and points, andfinishing second on the squad in assists. His 41 points werethe eight-best single season mark in school history, his 16 goalsare the 10th-best single season total, and his nine assists are the16th-best single-season total. The forward had sevengame-winning goals during the year, matching the Emorysingle-season record, and his 14 career game-winning scores are aschool record. He added four game-winning assists, thesecond-best total on the team, including two against UAA opponentsand one in the Eagles' overtime win over Greensboro College(N.C.). He had four multiple-goal games in 2007, including atwo-goal performance against UAA rival Carnegie Mellon University(Pa.). Carver also scored the ‘golden goal' against theUniversity of Chicago (Ill.) to give Emory a 3-2 double-overtimevictory. He finished the 2007 season rankedeighth in school history in points (96), seventh in school historyin goals (37) and ninth in school history in assists (22).
Sophomore (2006):
Carver led the Eagles in all scoring categories in 2006,registering six goals and nine assists for 21 total points. Hehas led Emory in goals scored in each of his first two seasons, andboth his 0.6 goals per game and 1.57 points per game over hiscareer are fifth best in school history. The sophomorereceived all-conference honors for the second-consecutive season in2006, after being named to the University Athletic Association(UAA) second team. Carver scored two game-winning goalsduring the season, one against the seventh-ranked College of NewJersey, and the other against Oglethorpe University (Ga.). The forward recorded two five-point games (two goals and oneassist) against Oglethorpe and Clayton State University(Ga.). Carver had five game-winning assists in 2006, thesecond-most in school history. He played in all 17 games forthe Eagles during the season.
Freshman (2005):
Carver garnered the conference Rookie of the Year honor, alongwith an honorable mention to the all-conference team during the2005 season. The freshman set school records for goals scored(15) and points (34) by a freshman. Carver led the team ingoals, and finished second on the team in points. The forwardadded four assists during the season, the fourth-highest total onthe team. Carver scored multiple goals in a game on threedifferent occasions, including two hat tricks and a four-goal,one-assist performance against Huntingdon College (AL). Fiveof Carver's goals were game winners, and he assisted on onegame-winning goal as well.
