Senior(2014):
Rosen co-captained an Emory defense that ranked among the bestin Division III during the 2014 season, finishing the campaign witha 0.60 goals-against average, the 16th-lowest mark inD-III. Rosen and the Eagles’ backline notched nineshutout efforts and helped limit opponents to averages of 11.1shots and 3.4 shots on goal per game, while yielding just 12 goalsto the opposition. He started all 18 games he played in,playing the entirety of 12 contests and finishing the year with sixshots, and three shots on goal. Rosen was named to anhonorable mention to the all-University Athletic Association Teamfor his efforts in 2014, in addition to earning a spot on theWarrior Classic All-Tournament Team and UAA Defensive Player of theWeek honors on November 3rd. Rosen finished hiscareer ranked fifth in school history with 70 starts, while playingin 72 games overall.
Junior(2013):
Rosen, a team co-captain during the 2013 campaign, was one ofjust four Emory players to start each of the team’s 18 gamesduring the year. He logged 1,623 minutes played, thesecond-most on the team and seventh-most in a single season in theprogram’s history, and played the entirety of 16 of theEagles’ 18 games in 2013. The center back was a keypart of the Eagles’ defense, which recorded a 1.08goals-against average and six shutouts during the season, whilelimiting opponents to 12.3 shots and 4.7 shots on goal pergame. Rosen added on one assist during the season, comingduring the Eagles’ 2-0 win over New York University onOctober 18th. He was also named to the SonnyCarter Invitational All-Tournament Team, after helpingEmory’s defense record one shutout and limit its twoopponents to a combined 10 shots, including five on goal. After three seasons, Rosen ranks fifth in school history with 4,602minutes played, and has started 52 of the 54 games he has played induring his collegiate career.
Sophomore(2012):
Rosen played in 19 games during his sophomore campaign, making17 starts at center back for the squad. He helped lead thedefense to six shutouts and a 1.34 goals-against average, whilelimiting opponents to 9.65 shots and 4.55 shots on goal per game. Rosen earned University Athletic Association (UAA) Athlete ofthe Week for the week of September 24th, after helping shutout apair of opponents and limiting both Birmingham-Southern College andMillsaps College to a combined 13 shots and five shots on goal. Rosen assisted on one goal as well during the year, the firstof his career, coming during the Eagles' 4-1 NCAA Tournamentvictory at Roanoke College. He ended the year with sevenshots, two of which were on goal.
Freshman(2011):
Rosen led all Emory first-year players with 17 starts during hisfreshman season. The center back was a key player on theEmory defense, which recorded seven shutouts and a 1.39goals-against average, while allowing the team to hold a 295-178advantage in shots taken during the year. Rosen ended theyear with 12 shots, one of which was on goal.
