Senior (2004):
Jon Arost finished his senior season tied for the team lead inpoints (27) and goals (11), both single-season highs for theforward. Nine of Arost's points (four goals and one assist) came inUniversity Athletic Association (UAA) games, the second highesttotal of any player in the conference. He was named to theall-conference second team, the first time he has received thehonor. Arost recorded the third hat trick of his career on Sept.26, becoming the third player in Emory history with at least threehat tricks. Arost finishes sixth in school history in careerassists, ninth in career points and 10th in career goals.
Junior (2003):
Junior forward Jon Arost scored a career-high 10 goals and addedsix assists. Against Shorter (Ga.) on Sept. 4, he scored the secondhat trick of his career. In both of his career hat tricks, teammateAnthony Esposito had three assists, one of four times in Emoryhistory where teammates racked up three goals and three assists inthe same contest. Arost's three goals were the most by an Eagle inone game this season. Arost finished the season third on the squadin goals. He was the only non-defensive player on the team to startall 20 games this season. Arost ranks 11th in the Emory recordbooks for career points, goals, and assists.
Sophomore (2002):
Sophomore midfielder Jon Arost tallied six goals and six assistsfor 18 points, placing him third on the team in assists and pointsand fourth in goals. Arost posted three game winning goals, tyingfor the team lead. He was named "Athlete of the Week" for Emory twotimes. His best game came against Methodist (N.C.) in which hescored two goals.
Freshman (2001):
Played in 18 of 18 games and started all of them. Had five goalsand seven assists on 25 shots for 17 points. Had four game winningassists to lead. Had a career high three goals and five shotsagainst LaGrange College on September 19.
