Senior (2008):
Howie finished his senior season second on the team with nineassists, and tied for third on the team with 17 points. He finishedthe season ranked 87th in Division III with 0.42 assists pergame. Howie, who played in all 19 Emory games during theseason, added on four goals during the campaign, including agame-winning goal during the Eagles' win over the then-25th-rankedUniversity of Mary Washington on September 7th. Themidfielder recorded three-point (one goal, one assist) gamesagainst Mary Washington, Guilford College on August 30th, andPiedmont College on September 24th. Howie finished his Emorycareer with 25 assists, the eighth-most in school history. Healso recorded 14 goals and 53 points over his four-year, 66-gamecareer.
Senior (2007):
Howie recorded a career year for the Eagles in 2007, settingcareer highs in each of the major offensive categories. Hefinished the season with five goals and seven assists for 17points, each the third-best mark on the team during the year. Howie's three game-winning goals was the second-best total on theteam during the year, including back-to-back game winners againstUniversity Athletic Association (UAA) opponents WashingtonUniversity (Mo.) and Case Western Reserve University (Ohio). The midfielder also assisted on the game-winning goal against NewYork University. Out of the 16 shots that he took, 12 were ongoal for a team-best .750 shots on goal percentage. Herecorded a career-best five points during Emory's 8-0 win over theUniversity of the South (Tenn.), scoring two goals and an assist inthe win. Howie started 15 games for the Eagles, playing in 17total matches during the season.
Junior (2006):
Howie started 14 of the 13 games he played in for the Eaglesduring his junior season. The midfielder registered threegoals and four assists for a total of 10 points during thecampaign, the fourth-best total on the team during theseason. His shining moment of the season came againstChristopher Newport University (Va.), when he scored the‘Golden Goal' for Emory in a 2-1 overtime win. Hecontinued to produce in clutch situations for the Eagles throughoutthe season, picking up the game-winning goal and an assist againstClayton State University (Ga.), and the game-winning assist in a1-0 win over Lynchburg College (Va.). Howie also had atwo-assist game against the seventh-ranked College of NewJersey.
Sophomore (2005):
In his first year on the team Howie scored two goals and addedfive assists for a total of nine points. Against OglethorpeUniversity, Howie scored a goal and two assists to help the Eaglesto a 6-0 win. The junior midfielder played in 16 games forthe Eagles, starting one. Nine of Howie's ten shots duringthe season were on goal, giving him a team-best 90% shot-on-goalpercentage.

Prior to Emory:
Played for four seasons on the Savannah Country Day soccer team,serving as the team captain during his junior and senior seasons...Scored 100 goals and 81 assists over his four seasons on the team,helping the squad to State Championships in 2002 and 2004...Coached by Peter Foley in high school... Also played for theConcorde Fire club team from 2000-04, where he was coached byMasood Roushandel... Played basketball and cross country in highschool as well.
