Biography

Junior (2015):

Curtin played in eight games during his junior season, making four starts. He scored his only point of the season, an assist, in the team’s 7-1 win over St. Joseph’s (Brooklyn) on September 5th. Curtin had two shots on the season with one on goal against Birmingham Southern on October 21st. He logged a season-high 53 minutes in the game against the Golden Eagles on September 11th.

Sophomore (2014):

Curtin was one of just four Eagles to appear in all of the team’s 19 games in 2014, including a pair of starts.  The midfielder finished the year with one goal, coming during the team’s 5-1 win at Hendrix College on September 13th.  He took seven shots during the season, four of which were on goal.

Freshman (2013):

Curtin played in nine games as a reserve during his freshman season.  He finished the year with one assist, coming during the Eagles’ 4-1 win at Averett University on September 6th.  The midfielder made his collegiate debut during the Eagles’ season-opening game on August 31st, recorded season highs with 40 minutes and two shots, including one on goal.  Curtin ended the year with three shots on goal and four total shots.

Prior to Emory:

Was a four-year member of the Trinity High School soccer team, serving as a team captain in 2012 and 2013... Scored 14 goals and assisted on 16 others his senior season... Coached by Barry Swearingen in high school... Also played club soccer for Mockingbird Valley SC, where he was coached by John Michael Hayden... Served as the team captain and helped lead his team to a State Championship.

Personal:

Born July 31st... Brother of teammate Connor Curtin... Was a member of the National Honor Society and the Beta Club in high school.
