Biography

Senior(2014):

Price scored five goals and assisted on five others for 15points during his senior campaign, ranking second on the team ineach category.  He led all Eagles with 48 shots, and wassecond on the team with 19 shots on goal.  The forward notcheda pair of game-winning goals during the season, one in theEagles’ second game of the season, a 3-2 win over RutgersUniversity – Newark on August 30th, and the otherduring conference play in a 1-0 win over the University ofRochester on October 31st.  He became the firsttwo-time Most Valuable Player in the history of the Sonny CarterInvitational, finishing the two-match tournament with two goals andan assist.  Price also registered a goal and an assist duringEmory’s 3-0 win over the University of the South on September27th.  He was named to the Capital One/ CoSIDAAcademic All-District Team for the second time of his career, basedon his academic and athletic achievements during the year.  Inaddition, he was selected as the University Athletic AssociationOffensive Player of the Week on September 2nd. Price made 15 starts and played in 17 total games, before hisseason was cut short by an injury during the team’s gameagainst Case Western Reserve on November 2nd. Price finished his Emory career tied for ninth in school historywith 34 goals, tied for 14th with 81 points, and tiedfor second with 13 game-winning goals.

Junior(2013):

Price was the main weapon in the Eagles’ offense duringthe 2013 campaign, earning spots on the NSCAA All-South AtlanticRegion Third Team and the All-University Athletic Association (UAA)Second Team for his performance during the season.  Price ledall Eagles with 10 goals, 24 points and three game-winning goalsduring the year, while his four assists were tied for second on theteam.  He took 82 shots and 36 shots on goal over the year,both tied for the second-most in school history in a singleseason.  The Eagles’ co-captain finished the year ranked123rd among Division III players in total goals,124th with 0.56 goals per game, 127th with1.33 points per game and 144th in total points, whilealso ranking second among all UAA players in goals and third inpoints.  Price opened his season by earning Most ValuablePlayer and All-Tournament honors at the Sonny Carter Invitational,leading tournament participants with three goals, including thegame winner on a penalty kick against Mississippi College onSeptember 1st.  The forward matched his career-bestby scoring a goal in five-straight games to start the season. In UAA play, Price was second among all conference scorers withfour goals and nine points, including a two-goal effort againstnationally-ranked Brandeis University on October 20th,and the game-winning goal against New York University on October18th, and earned UAA Athlete of the Week honors onOctober 21st.  Price registered one game-winningassist during the year, coming against Millsaps College onSeptember 28th.  He recorded his second five-gamepoint scoring streak of the season from September 28th– October 20th.  He was also named to theCapital One/ CoSIDA Academic All-District squad in 2013. After three seasons on the team, Price ranks third in schoolhistory with 11 career game-winning goals, 14th with 29total goals and 19th with 66 points.

Sophomore(2012):

Price earned an honorable mention to the all-University AthleticAssociation (UAA) team for the second-straight season in 2012. He played in all 20 of Emory's games during the 2012 season,making 17 starts and finishing second on the team with 12 goals and27 points, both career-best marks.  Of his 12 goals, six weregame winning scores, one short of the school single-season recordand the second-most among all UAA players.  He ended the yearranked third in the UAA in both goals and goals per game, fourth inpoints and sixth in points per game.  He registered two goalsand two assists in UAA games, ranking him eighth in goals and ninthin points in conference contests.  Price was recognized as theUAA Athlete of the Week on September 24th, after scoring four goalsduring the week, including a 'hat trick' againstBirmingham-Southern College on September 20th, the first of hiscareer and 37th in the program's history.  He also registereda multiple-goal game against Maryville College (Tenn.) on September5th, registering two goals and one assist in a 3-1 win.  Pricescored the game-winning 'golden goal' against Covenant College onOctober 19th, and assisted on the 'golden goal' against theUniversity of Chicago on September 29th.  Price claimed aCapital One/ CoSIDA Academic All-District honor for his effortsboth on the field and in the classroom.  After two seasons onthe team, Price is tied for fourth in the program's history witheight career game-winning goals, and has totaled 19 goals and fourassists for 42 points.

Freshman(2011):

Price made an immediate impact with the Eagles during hisfreshman campaign, leading the squad with seven goals and finishingsecond on the team with 15 points, en route to receiving anhonorable mention to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA)team.  Price's two game-winning goals during the season wereboth 'golden goals,' coming against Covenant College on October 5thand New York University on October 30th.  He became justthe fourth Emory player to record multiple 'golden goals' in asingle season, joining former Eagles John Symbas (1999), MattLevine (2000) and Patrick McFarland (2007).  The forward wasalso just the sixth Emory player to earn all-UAA status with fewerthan nine starts, after the freshman started seven contests duringthe campaign, while playing in 17.  In addition to scoring the'golden goal' against NYU, Price also scored the game-tying goal inregulation, en route to the Eagles' 2-1 victory.  He had athree-point game (a goal and an assist on the game-winning goal)during the Eagles' 2-1 win over Piedmont College on October19th.  He scored his first collegiate goal on September 3rdduring a 3-2 loss to Roanoke College, earning a spot on the RoanokeInvitational All-Tournament Team.  Price was second on thesquad with 36 shots and third with 16 shots on goal during theyear.

Prior to Emory:

Played on the Langley High School soccer team from 2008-11,serving as the team captain during his sophomore, junior and senioryears... Was the Region and District Player of the Year in 2011...Earned all-district and all-region honors in 2010 and 2011, andall-state and all-met honors in 2011... Scored 18 goals andassisted on 10 other during his senior year... Coached by Bo Amatoin high school... Also played club soccer for Great Falls GFA,where he served as the captain and was coached by Mark Ryan.
