Biography

Senior (2005):

Chern was named as an honorable mention to the all-conferenceteam in 2005.  He picked up two game-winning assists duringthe season, one against Huntingdon College (AL) and the otheragainst conference-rival Washington University (Mo.).  Chernwas part of an Emory defense that had the ninth-highest shutoutpercentage in Division III soccer, the 16th-best team goals againstaverage and broke a school record by shutting out 14 of its 19opponents.  He played in 14 games for the Eagles, starting 13of them.  Chern finished his Emory career with three goals andten assists for 16 points in 60 games.

Junior (2004):

Chern recorded career highs in points (nine), goals (three) andassists (three). He finished the season with two game-winninggoals, and an assist on another game-winning goal.

Sophomore (2003):

Andrew Chern was voted conference Athlete of the Week the sameweek Emory improved its record to 10-0 and was ranked No. 3 in thenation. He totaled two assists on the season.

Freshman (2002):

Played in 17 of 19 games and started two of them. Had threeassists for three points. His assists came against Millsaps Collegeon September 1, New York University on November 2, and MaryvilleCollege on November 6.
